On the afternoon of April 26, 2024, at the headquarter 99 Tran Quoc Toan, the National Working Environment Monitoring Station (WEMOS) hosted a reception and working session with chairman Toru Takegoshi and senior officials from the Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association (JISHA), on the occasion of their business trip to Vietnam.

JISHA chairman, Toru Takegoshi, expressed gratitude to WEMOS leaders and research staff for the warm welcome to the delegation and conveyed that the purpose of JISHA’s business trip to Vietnam is to survey the situation and coordinate in organizing conferences and seminars to support raising awareness of workers on occupational safety and health (OSH) in Japanese companies in Vietnam.

Welcoming the JISHA delegation, vice director of WEMOS, Tran Thi Lieu, shared about the implementation of OSH in Vietnam as well as the role of WEMOS in these processes. Both sides proposed some bilateral activities and expressed willingness to expand practical cooperation,as a basis to deepen and strengthen the cooperative relationship between JISSHA and WEMOS.
