In 2024:
1. Assessment of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in suspended particulate matter in the working environment.
2. Development of a standard procedure for the determination of benzidine in air samples using gas chromatography (GC).
3. Development of a standard procedure for the determination of hydroquinone in the air using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
4. Development of a standard procedure for the determination of nickel carbonyl in the air using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS).
In 2023:
1. Assess the current status of occupational exposure to airborne glycol ethers in Vietnam and propose solutions to reduce it.
2. Development of a procedure for the determination of three hexabromocyclododecane isomers (α-, β- and γ-HBCD) in settled dust and short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in surface water, applied in environmental monitoring and analysis.
In 2021:
1. Research on solutions to control occupational safety and health (OSH) risks at some shipyards and shipbuilding facilities, contributing to preventing occupational accidents and diseases.
2. Development of a procedure for the determination of polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) in plastic waste from the electronics industry using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
3. Health risk assessment of workers living around industrial zones exposed to heavy metals in PM10 and PM2.5.
4. Development of a guidance handbook on typical air pollutants that cause environmental and occupational health problems arise from some manufacturing and processing industries.
In 2020:
1. Assess the current status of occupational exposure to harmful microorganisms (molds and bacteria) and propose a draft standard on limit values for industrial work environment.
2. Research on the scientific basis to supplement and amend the mechanism and policy of compulsory insurance for occupational accidents and occupational diseases in Vietnam by 2035.
3. Research the scientific basis and develop a methodology for occupational risk management in accordance with Vietnam’s integration and development.
4. Development of a procedure for the determination of aniline in air samples using thermal desorption GC/MS method.
5. Development of a procedure for the determination of vinyl chloride in air samples using thermal desorption GC/MS method for environmental quality assessment.
In 2019:
1. Development of a procedure for the determination of acrolein and acetaldehyde in air samples using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with an ultraviolet detector (HPLC/UV).
2. Development of a procedure for the determination of hexabromobiphenyl in airborne dust using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
3. Health risk assessment of residents living around industrial zones exposed to halogenated volatile organic compounds.
In 2018:
1. Development of a set of criteria for evaluating and ranking enterprises in implementing laws on occupational safety and health and environmental protection.
2. Research on occupational safety and health (OSH) risk assessment and application of an appropriate OSH management system in stone quarrying and processing facilities.
3. Development of a personal passive sampling device for assessing occupational exposure to nicotine in tobacco factories in Vietnam.
4. Development of a procedure for the determination of acrylonitrile in ambient air using thermal desorption GC/MS method.
5. Development of a procedure for the determination of cadmium (Cd) in ambient air using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS).
In 2017:
1. Development of a method for comprehensive assessment of occupational health risks.
2. Development of a draft standard regarding the determination of mineral oil mist in working air using gravimetric method and gas chromatographic method.
3. Development of a draft standard regarding determination methods of PM10 and PM2.5.
4. Development of a draft standard regarding the measurement of ionizing radiation in the air.

1. Decomposition of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using non-thermal plasma, applied in a printing workshop.
2. Isolation and identification of pathogenic molds in the working air of food processing facilities using molecular techniques.
3. Development of a technical process for the complete catalytic oxidation of toluene at low temperature.
4. Research on the occupational health effects of isocyanate monomers in the working air of painting areas at automotive and motorcycle manufacturing facilities.
5. Development of a procedure for the analysis of total organic carbon (TOC) in water and wastewater, applied in environmental monitoring and analysis.
6. Development of a procedure for the determination of methyl acrylate and ethyl acrylate in the air using gas chromatography (GC), applied in environmental monitoring and analysis.
In 2015:
1. Fabrication of an equipment for H2S removal from exhaust gas using biological method.
2. Development of a procedure for the determination of airborne silica particles in the working air using Infrared spectroscopy.
3. Research on the procedure to determine adsorption capacity of volatile organic compounds on activated carbon, applied in a dynamic adsorption experimental system.
4. Development of a calculation procedure to determine the effective investment rate for dust collectors in exhaust gas treatment systems.
5. Development of a draft standard regarding the procedure to determine tin (Sn) in the air using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS), applied in environmental monitoring and analysis.
6. Development of a procedure for the determination of mineral oil and grease in water using infrared spectroscopy.
7. Development of a procedure for the determination of mercaptans in the air, applied in monitoring substances that cause unpleasant odour.

1. Investigation, assessment and prediction of the working conditions in some industries by 2020.
2. Research on the application of natural lighting techniques in industrial buildings in order to create a comfortable lighting environment for workers, contributing to energy saving and environmental protection.
3. Modification and amendment of the method for determining the distribution of gas and particles in the atmosphere, applied in environmental monitoring in Vietnam.
4. Research on design, production, and application of atomizer in construction stone processing industry.
5. Assessment of radon concentration in underground coal mines in Quang Ninh Province.
6. Research to partially complete the method of estimating the damage costs associated with occupational air pollution.
7. Development of procedures for the determination of hydrochloric acid (HCl), nitric acid (HNO3) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4) in working air using ion chromatography.

4. Color treatment of wastewater from textile dyeing craft villages using ozone-based advanced oxidation processes.
5. Selection and trial application of a formular to quantify economic losses due to working environment pollution applicable in Vietnam.
6. Research on removal of SO2 in industrial incinerator exhaust gas with semi-dry process.
7. Survey on the radiological safety status of mobile X-ray rooms and propose solutions to ensure safety.

1. Research on the scientific basis to develop solutions and propose policies for arduous, hazardous, and dangerous occupations and works.
2. Investigation, evaluation and development of environmental sanitation and healthcare models for workers in the agricultural sector. Propose solutions for replication.
3. Assessment of noise dose exposure of workers working in high-noise-level industries to develop a draft TCVN standard on methods for assessing noise dose exposure.
